Already for the third time the Theater Mönchengladbach invites thousands of spectators to the cultural market on May 30th. Whether children’s flea market, dancing for everyone, bouncy castles or second-hand vinyl, escape room and hat auction – an entertaining family day is guaranteed. More than 40 cultural institutions and artists present the diversity of the Mönchengladbach culture and all kinds of exciting activities. Culinary visitors to the cultural market can look forward to a rich selection of African specialities, Cretan delicacies and Italian delicacies. On the big stage, children and adults can experience the children’s concert with the Lower Rhine Symphony Orchestra – at 11 am and 12.30 pm, Kobold Kiko asks himself how music can create feelings. Afterwards ballet director Robert North invites you to “dance for everyone” on the big stage of the theatre. Children can paint, discover and play extensively in the large family area. The Adrenalin Parcours is the longest inflatable parcours in Germany and also suitable for adult play children. Admission to the cultural market is free. Tickets for the children’s concert are available at the theatre box office.
