The Nice Toilet

The German “Nette Toilette” scheme operates in Mönchengladbach: the aim is to provide a city-wide network of free public toilets for the people of Mönchengladbach and its visitors which are clean, well-maintained, and in some cases open at night as well as in the daytime. So far there are about 20 “Nette Toilette” locations in the inner city of Mönchengladbach and in Rheydt town centre. They include in particular some of the local authority’s public buildings. Locations which are part of the project are highlighted with prominent stickers at the entrance.
