Spring has arrived and we’re looking forward to Easter – starting the day with a relaxed brunch or breakfast, enjoying the holiday in a Mediterranean style at lunchtime or socialising over a delicious dinner in chilled surroundings. You are spoilt for choice – so bon appetit!



From Good Friday to Easter Monday, the ninety-nine restaurant at the Kaiser-Friedrich-Halle and the beautiful Kaiserpark offers a luxurious Easter brunch. The brunch buffet not only offers a variety of cold cuts and side dishes, but also baked goods from the restaurant’s own bakery. Regionality and quality are the focus here. The buffet is rounded off with delicious warm dishes, including one or two exotic ones! The restaurant’s already varied brunch offer is joined by whole fish, roast beef, sparkling and semi-sparkling wine on the Easter festive days. All this is included in the price of 39.90 euros. You can eat from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Restaurant Frenzen is known for its German dishes, which are interpreted in a modern way and prepared with particularly high-quality products of regional origin.
In the period from 13 to 17 April 2022, there are two Easter menus in five courses, one of which is suitable for vegans and vegetarians, if you order in advance. Expect a beef carpaccio on asparagus salad, followed by a lobster cappuccino and a mai kir sorbet with woodruff and lime as an intermediate course. The leg of lamb with wild garlic spinach, crispy trillings and spiced ginger jus as the main course is followed by a rhubarb crumble with strawberry salad and vanilla ice cream to finish.
The vegan version starts with a beetroot carpaccio on asparagus salad, followed by a cauliflower cappuccino. Stuffed roasted onion with wild garlic spinach and crispy trills tempt, again with spiced ginger jus. Dessert and sorbet are the same as for the non-vegan menu.

Café Kontor

Whether you enjoy your first coffee of the day there, your second breakfast or a midday snack – you feast in one of the most beautiful rooms of a historic bank building. Attention to detail has been paid not only to the furnishings, but also to the preparation of the coffee or the selection of drinks and food. Freshness and quality are in the foreground here. The open kitchen allows you to participate in the preparation of the daily changing dishes or the homemade cakes and immediately whets your appetite for more.

For breakfast there is, among other things, porridge with fresh seasonal fruit, at lunchtime you will find changing vegetarian and vegan dishes and homemade cakes. At any time of day you can have toasted flatbread: oriental with hummus or Mediterranean with tomato and mozzarella. Now that spring is here, you can also enjoy the whole range on the outdoor terrace opposite on Adenauerplatz and catch the first rays of sunshine. Since 1 January 2017, the small café has been run by Zahra Campregher, who is sure to have some gastronomic surprises in store for you in the future.
