The Comet Cine Center – a four-storey glass palace as a multiplex cinema. The Comet Cine Center in Mönchengladbach has a long tradition. On 25 August 1998, the former multiplex cinema “Village Cine Center” was opened. In 2000, the Mönchengladbach cinema was taken over by Comet-Filmtheaterbetrieb Mönchengladbach, who had also built it.
The Comet CIne Center has seven cinemas with Dolby Surrond, 3D and laser projection. The Mönchengladbach cinema shows a varied daily cinema programme with the best Hollywood films and blockbusters. In addition, the Glaspalast broadcasts classical music concerts and opera evenings.
